Cities are one of the most important actors in the Race to Zero. This event will delve into what cities can do to aim for net-zero with a session devoted to cities that want to set a science-based target for climate change. This panel will outline what science-based targets are, why they are important for cities and what cities can do to set a science-based target. Information will be provided on the types of support, resources and guidance available to cities through CDP. Cities Race to Zero is organized with C40, GCoM, ICLEI, UCLG, WWF and WRI.
