How to install F Wave synthetic shingles: Roof Penetrations
All roof penetrations should be properly flashed using standard roofing practices. Apply shingles up to the vent pipe, then cut a hole in a shingle to go over the pipe and set the shingle with an F-Wave approved sealant.
Once the pipe boot flashing is properly placed, continue installing shingles. Cut ascending shingles to fit around the pipe flashing and set them with an F-Wave approved sealant.
