Shweta Ghosh is an independent documentary filmmaker and researcher. A silver medalist from the School of Media and Cultural Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, she has spent the last four years honing her skills in documentary film production, photography and media and cultural studies research. Her debut film Accsex that explores ideas of disability and sexuality was awarded Special Mention at the 61st National Awards, 2014 and has been screened in festivals across India and abroad.
Shweta is happiest eating, travelling and editing films and videos. In the future, she looks forward to exploring ideas around cuisine, culture, music and disability through audio visual and written work.
