Song Saa Private Island lies secluded in the magnificent seascape of the Koh Rong Archipelego, in southern Cambodia, just 35 minutes by boat from the port of Sihanoukville.
Most of the islands remain undeveloped – deserted oases of virgin rainforests, tropical reefs and glistening white beaches.
In 2006 Rory and Melita Hunter came to the Koh Rong Archipelago, and fell in love with its environment and people.
In 2011 they completed the Song Saa Private Island resort to share this experience with others, while, at the same time establishing a team of highly trained and dedicated individuals to conserve and enhance the natural and social world of the Archipelago.
In 2013 they formed the Song Saa Foundation to take this passion and commitment to a whole new level.
