I am a Freelance Audio Engineer based in Austin, TX. I have been working as a freelance audio engineer in the Austin area since 2004. I am a classically trained Violist and started my tenure at UT as a Music Major, but I soon found my love for Audio Production. After spending several years studying studio recording and mixing under Professor Mark Sarisky, I began specializing in sound for film starting in 2006.
Since then I have taken on a number of roles in both production and post-production sound. In 2006, I worked as a sound editing intern and foley recordist/mixer on the Independent Feature Film, Cassidy Kids.
This experience sparked my interest in sound-for-picture and motivated me to apply for and be subsequently accepted into the film program at the University of Texas at Austin.
Over the last seven years I have worked on a growing number of projects ranging from student shorts to feature-length documentary and narrative films for web, broadcast and theatrical release. I have extensive experience recording, editing and mixing sound. Recent projects I mixed have been released theatrically in DCP format as well as distributed via DVD, Blu-Ray, iTunes and aired on television.
I am determined to leave my mark on the film world. I feel the best way to make a film great is to have the best possible sound, and I strive to bring this mentality to every project I work on
