Ryan Suffern has worked on films of all kinds over the past decade, starting with the independent film community in Chicago, and later, serving as an assistant to Steven Spielberg. Ryan has written, directed, produced and edited several shorts, commercials, documentaries and music videos, and in 2006, he began his own production company, Suckatash Productions.
An English major from the University of Illinois, Ryan has documented the filming of four recent Spielberg movies, and he has written a feature screenplay on assignment for DreamWorks. He recently finished editing the film, Right To Play, a documentary Frank Marshall is directing for ESPN that's due to air on the network later this year. Ryan has also produced and directed music videos for V2 and Universal Music, as well as webseries for Paramount Pictures, Strike.tv, Beggars Banquet and the Independent Comedy Network.
