Jesus is a filmmaker and writer with interests in peace/conflict resolution and reconciliation, methods of non-violent resistance, peace education, Israeli Palestinian peace process, and information dissemination using emerging technologies and new media.

His work in short form film formats include, "My Neighbourhood," which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2012, winning the 2012 Peabody Award; and a four episode online web series, "Home Front: Portraits from Sheikh Jarrah" which supplement "My Neighbourhood."

His feature length work includes an independent feature, "Besa: The Promise," about Albanian Muslims who saved Jews during the WWII. The film had its world premiere at the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival 2012 and continues to screen in festivals across the world.

Jesus is a graduate of the The George Washington University and continues studying at the Elliot School for International Affairs with concentrations on conflict resolution and the conflict in Syria.
