I lead the Design Computation group at NBBJ. We specialize in sophisticated generative and analytical tools for designers. After a sabbatical as an Applications Engineer at Vannevar Technology (now Flux.io), I returned to NBBJ with a new appreciation for the lean startup ethos and the software industry's approach to solving problems of scalability, which we now apply to our design computation practice.
Previously, I worked at M Fuksas Architetto in Rome and APA Wojciechowski in Warsaw. I have taught graduate and undergraduate seminars at the Knowlton School of Architecture and California College of the Arts (CCA). I received a Masters in Architecture from KSA and a Bachelors in English Literature with minors in film and psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. Before diving into the world of architecture I was a filmmaker, curator, and book editor.
