Another piece of uni coursework for film scoring. This piece was really interesting as it's very open, so the music can take it in a certain direction. I decided to go for a intense and dark feel, and a lot of the instrumentation and ideas are influenced by Ólafur Arnalds score for Broadchurch. *I do not own this original clip, but all music composed by Chris Ryde.*+ More details

A gentle slow paced Broadchurch Miller and Hardy Fanvid Please note: This video does contain the odd spoiler, but hopefully it will not spoil viewing for anyone who may not have seen the UK version of the show. Mind you, if you haven't seen it yet...where on earth have you been hiding all of this time? At the time of upload the series start date was unknown. However the new series started to air in the UK on January 5th 2015 on the ITV Network __________________________________________________________________________________________ Sometimes during the darkest of times, when you have nowhere to turn, the greatest support can often come in the guise of the person you least expect. The one you misjudged, or misjudged you. The one who laughed or sneered when you told them not to trust. Yet, when all else fails, if they genuinely respect you, they are the ones that come running, and are still at your side when everyone else has lets you down. If you follow my artwork on Behance / Deviant Art or have seen any of my comments across the various social media sites, you will know that I am a unashamedly a 'Broadchurch' obsessive. (I stress...OBSESSIVE)! And, therefore make no secret of saying I heavily 'ship TV detectives DS Ellie Miller and DI Alec Hardy. AKA #Millardy in my world. (They are simply what Rose was for Ten in Doctor Who). However, for this tribute fanvid, the title of the video is inspired by a song I have in my collection, the music inspiration is the wonderful composer of the original Broadchurch ST — Ólafur Arnalds. If, like me, you have played the BluRay version of the show, you will have come to learn that there is a track missing from the Broadchurch EP. In fact it was probably never intended to be on it seeing as it was not specifically commissioned for the show. This is that missing track. It is featured on one of Ólafur's albums, and appears in brief on an emotional end sequence between Miller and Hardy. Without fail, it is an emotive piece of music, too beautiful to not share in it's entirety. I hope folks will appreciate this video for what it is. It was created purely for entertainment purposes. And is in no way trying to define anything other than what was intended by the original TV show. (OK, so that's not completely true! Maybe it does suggest the relationship between the two is a little more involved than we were given in the TV version...but hey, that's what fanvid's are all about...right?) Oh, and the artwork featured at the very end is by ifourdezign. (available at Redbubble) How funny that we have similar names! ;) Having problems viewing the file?
