Being a Virginian, working closely with the Mental Health System of Virginia, I wanted to create something that would address pain, trauma, and healing. This healing meditation is being given away freely to support the healing of the faculty and students at Virginia Tech, the mental health workers and support teams, and to anyone who needs healing energy. Karen originally composed Tally's Lullaby when a family wrote that they were comforted by her song, Simple Things from an earlier CD after their Labrador retriever (Tally) died of cancer. "Overwhelmed by their letter, and with tears in my eyes, I wrote Tally's Lullaby."
