3 minutes of my trip to Cambodia. And a few shots from the Aranyaprathet-Bankok train. This was my first trip out of the country. Music: Paradise - Coldplay Shot with a Canon 500D kit 18-55mm (In the passport shot, used a 50mm 1.8) 1080p, 20fps. Compressed at 720p. All handheld. These are the times when I really feel the need for a more advanced camera and faster/longer lens. But lack of equipment shouldn't stop you right. Enjoy! TWITTER: twitter.com/ryanalimon

A standard SMPTE Universal Leader that we created at 4k resolution for priting to film. Creating it at 4k took longer but it means that it retains its quality when downsized to 2k and HD formats - e.g. 1080p and 720p if need.

This video was shot to test the Cannon 7D conversion from 720 60P to 720 24 fps for slow motion. There are 2 different angles taken of 2 different bulbs breaking. Clip one has the following settings: 720 60P, f-stop 5.6, shutter 1/160 Converted in Compressor to 24 fps. Clip two has the following settings: 720 60P, f-stop 5.6, shutter 1/125 Converted in Compressor to 24 fps. The idea was to determine what the best Shutter Speed would be for slow motion shooting at 60P. The only variance between these two clips was the shutter speed. Even though there was not much of a difference between the two I decided to not break any more bulbs because of the mess. Which concluded that the test was not really conclusive. I will do more further tests when filming later on. If you have any suggestions on ideal settings for slow motion please let me know.
