A video management system (VMS) should be configured to deliver important evidence effectively. To ensure reliable surveillance, it is crucial that the VMS uses an appropriate frame rate. Selecting a frame rate that is higher than necessary results in wasted storage space and bandwidth. But if the frame rate is too low, it can result in important pieces of evidence being missed. Finding the right frame rate is, therefore, essential to save on storage and bandwidth costs while maintaining reliable visual surveillance. How do you select the right frame rate for your VMS? The following research presents food for thought about the use of different frame rates (25 FPS, 10 FPS and 1 FPS) for video surveillance. The video visualises the setting of the research and demonstrates framerates of 25 FPS (upper left), 10 FPS (upper right) and 1 FPS (lower left).

The one-minute animation I had to complete for my course's comedy brief. I decided to try something different to my usual lineless style and experimented with Toon Boom Harmony's new deformation tool, and it was a lot of fun to do, although it required me to draw up a lot of separate rigs. The music is ELO's "Poker".
