This video was mostly shot live on a pyrotechnic stage. We used a high speed camera to shoot at 2500fps for the rain, flower explosion and fuse shots. The only artificial visual effects are the face explosion, bubble transformation and smoke to body bag transformation. Enzymes is available for free download at Green Label Sound: http://www.greenlabelsound.com or http://www.greenlabelsound.com/freelance-whales?id=122&type=0 . Made for Freebord's Best Edited Video Contest. Featuring riders from all over the world! Footage was provided by Freebord, editing by StephenDiaz. For this edit I didn't just want to make it a visual experience but an auditory one as well. The video is truly experienced while wearing headphones with right and left channels. I edited the sound in every applicable clip so that when a rider is on the left the audio is slightly panned left or if a rider flies by right to left you hear them go by in your headphones. It is subtle and most people wouldn't usually think about or even notice the sound design, but subconsciously it is really one of the most important parts of film. The audio behind a film, if subtle and done well, can really pull the audience in closer to a whole new experience. Put your headphones in, turn to HD full screen, and ENJOY! For more info on how the video was made continue reading. ------------------------------------------------------------------- The 2.5D timelapse sections were done in Photoshop, Motion and Final Cut Pro. If any of you guys are wondering how to do it you can find a tutorial by searching "kid stays in the picture tutorial" in google. It is reallllly time consuming, but I think it's worth it! You basically make a freeze frame of the image you want, cut out the foreground the mid ground and the background in photoshop. Fill in the sections that you cut out in each with the stamp tool. Then in motion you put the layers in 3D space and then create a camera move that moves towards or away from them. This creates the 2.5D effect and from there you can adjust the keyframes of the sky to make it look like it's timelapsing. The 2500fps slow motion sections were done in Motion using Optical Flow [not as good as twixtor, but gets the job done :D] Song is used by permission from RUSKO.
