      • 1966 USA Ford Falcon Sports Coupe XR XT GT V8

        from James Winton Added 106 0 0

1966 USA Ford Futura Sports Coupe XR Falcon Coupe This Coupe is a very neat, classic and tidy running example of the classic USA Ford 1966 Falcon coupe. This is the one you always wanted as a kid, but the Aussie factory failed to deliver for you. Guarantee you'll be amazed at the looks and comments this classic coupe attracts, not lost in the sea of Mustangs or Camaro's. The Facts about this classic: • Built in the Dearbon, MI Ford Plant 0n March the 10th 1966 • Unit build of 02266 built for that year with a total 20,289 • Factory Raven Black paint, Red interior • Sports Coupe with Bucket Seats (62C body style) • 289 Challenger V8 (200hp) • Automatic column shift (C4 Dual Range) • 8 and 3/4 differential with factory axle ratio: 3.00:1 All original components still fitted to vehicle; all original running gear; 289 Challenger V8 (200hp), C4 Automatic with column shift. This Falcon comes with great history from the previous owner in the States having done the restoration over a couple of years. The Falcon's even famous having featured in a; MIB III, Mini Series, HBO Movie and Rap Video. The coupe's now fully registered in South Oz. This being Historic/Club Rego, that's non-transferrable, if you join or are a club member you can transfer rego onto Club rego and pay NO stampduty. The coupe's happily locked away in my garage and fully insured with Shannon's, so no consideration given to low-ball offers . Interior: Is in near perfect and new condition, the entire interior was renewed/replaced in 2008 with factory correct parts. All seat covers and door skins being replaced, even the dash cover appears to of been replaced. The carpet has been replaced with fully factory moulded quality reproduction carpet both back and front. All the chrome work is in good condition with some small signs of age. All arm rests are in place and all show very nice. All the windows operate with ease from full travel open to closed, glass is in good not perfect condition. The dash is in top condition and all the gauges, dials, lights and switches are all in good working order. The original in dash AM radio is still in place and is still working a treat for them AM tunes. There is also an aftermarket; CB 2Way and 8-Track purely for the aesthetic 60's appeal (attached with easy slid on/off bracket). Body: This was also done around that 2007/8 when it was resprayed as part of the total restoration process. It's one of the better paint jobs I’ve seen out of the States and looks like the vehicle was fully stripped back (I have some photos of the coupe just painted). The great fact is, Raven Black is the original factory colour, not too many of them around you'd think. The body lines and panels all look great, and all run true and straight. The bumpers on this are perfect and show extremely well, flawless. All the polished trim is in great condition, with the addition of tricky window shields adding a classic look. Rust; All of the common places ARE rust free and all the floors look nice and solid completely original. This is all original sheet metal without any issues (if you're paying attention and looking hard enough you see a tiny break out in the LH lower door). Has a new vynal roof fitted around 2009 and still showing like brand new. All the badges, lights and trim are in good condition and in place from factory. The boot's even nicely fitted out with mat wheel cover and original jack. Engine: This 289 V8 is a high revving, sounds and runs very smooth and is nice tough. Just like a freshly rebuild motor should, with all the internal components rebuilt and or replaced. Under the hood is picture perfect factory correct paint and markings. The carby has been replaced with a Holly, the rest is factory original; air cleaner, intake manifold, exhaust manifold and alternator. The last owner went to great lengths to upgrade to ventilated front disks and new power assisted booster sitting under the hood. It also has a nice Autolite Battery cover that ads to the classic look. Other Bits: The exhaust is new from front to back chrome tips, looks only to be 1 3/4" maybe. The C4 auto works a treat; changes nicely, kicks back without a fuss, no leaks and nice clean fluids. With the brakes upgraded to disks at the front your pleasantly surprised with a great firm brake pedal. The power steering works fine and makes getting around a breeze. The wheels are standard steel rims with Factory year correct Falcon hubcaps, all wrapped in Whitewall Tires with plenty of tread. Any other wheels shown in photo's do not come with sale. $500 Non-Refundable Deposit on close of Auction via PayPal. Full payment CASH or Bank Cheque or arranged Internet Transfer with conditions. Vehicle comes with a folder full of paperwork, some pics of the resto and all import approval/rego paperwork and will be made available with the sale of vehicle.

          • Ford GTF 351 // BTS: Mōvi M10 Vehicle Rig

            from SilvaStreet Added 2,478 40 3

Production: Newborn Productions http://newbornproductions.tv/ I got to rig up the Movi M10 on a really cool gig a few weeks back with Newborn Productions in Melbourne, Australia, filming a soon to be revealed Ford GT-F 351, on a private track. The production crew have a Mercedes Vito Van at their disposal and managed to rig up a mini jib in the center of the van, and hung out the arm via the sliding door - enough reach to clear the van out of shot. The Ninja star and toad in the hole quick release shipped just in time the day before the shoot, and we tried to work out a way to mount the Movi onto the jib securely. With a 1 inch thick rubber plate between the ninja star and the jib, it was a snug and safe fit. We weren't entirely sure how smooth our shots would be as we didn't have too much time to test it out. But we were confident it would produce better shots than the jib on its lonesome. After about 2mins on the track, we all had big grins on our faces! Check out the final video here to see the results (car tracking shots in the last third of the film). Absolutely ZERO Post stabilization! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12ymO35FBZY If you have any input onto how we can improve this setup, please comment! Or if you have questions about the setup please let us know.
