From the very beginning of time, human nature always made us look for something better, something new, something that will make our lives easier and more pleasant, make us different from each other. It is our engine of progress, which pushed us to invent the wheel, compass , clock, light bulb and 3D printers. Without even realizing it.. During the search for ways to make our life more comfortable, we created all the necessary tools for anyone(of us) who want to make something brand new, get recognition and success, or just simply wants to make his or someone else's life better. I recently found out about Materialise, a world leader and pioneer in industrial 3D printing, which surprisingly comes out of Belgium. They have launched a new service to allow everybody to print their own 3d designs just by uploading the file with the data and choosing the materials. You can also sell your design in their platform and make some money with your art. How many copies do you think you can sell? iMaterialise: http://i.materialise.com/ See what others have created: http://i.materialise.com/gallery Non comercial CC share-alike http://twitter.com/ramonsuarez http://ramonsuarez.com

Is Unsuccessful. This is the best I've got my RepRap to do so far though, having botched the bed together with inappropriate tools. (The Kapton tape was cleaned with rum before this print, for want of some acetone.) After getting some of the way into the first layer, the filament stops sticking to the bed and starts hugging the nozzle, so I stop the video to fix this. Bed Temp circa 60C, extruder head at 200C.
