Stalled-Romance. Co-Writer Cinematographer/Camera Operator. A bad first date takes a turn for the worse when the car dies in the middle of the awkward drive home. Stuck with nowhere to go, the pair reevaluate the date and manage to salvage it. This film was another 48 hour film festival entry, and was predicated on being a night shoot in the middle of nowhere. Despite the troubles and pressures, we managed to maintain efficience and get the whole film in the can and out to edit. We shot this film with a RED Scarlet, it was my first time handling one and I loved learning from it, but it has been a while since Ive seen another RED. I only wish this piece had another night to film, so as to have had more fun working shots in the car scenes.
