The behind-the-scenes documentary about the 48 Hour Game Making Challenge 2014, held in Brisbane, Australia, October 2014. Technical info: Except for the provided segment from Zed Games (thanks!) this was shot mostly on a Blackmagic Cinema Camera with a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 (it's dark in there!) with some additional shots on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. Audio is from a RØDE NTG-3 into a Tascam DR-60D. Music made in Logic Pro; edited and finished in Final Cut Pro X. A schizophrenic answers the question 'What's it like being a schizophrenic?', when their lifestyle comes into play... Shot in 2 days using 20 actors, the idea was to have a short film that showed off the abilities of each person a little. It went to Cannes Short Film Corner 2011 which was great fun. See iamanactor.co.uk for more information on projects like this.+ More details
Introduction: Our genre was "mocumentary", we had to use a "picture" and a "squeegee" as objects and our main character required the name "J. Spinelli". The execution: We decided that in order to get the reaction we needed we weren't going to tell any of the talent that we were filming a mocumentary, but rather, a drama called "Murky Waters". So, when watching the following, try to remember that no one other then the immediate crew knew this was a farce. Those are real reactions. The Finale: Knowing that they screen all the films, even if they dont make it in under the deadline, we introduced the film with a small clip of us on camera apologizing for not making it on time (although we did, unbeknownst to the audience), and that it was difficult to shoot a the drama (which we didn't) so instead we decided to submit our behind the scenes footage, as perhaps a warning to future filmmakers not to tread down the same path as us.+ More details
"Clinetrap, TX" was originally produced for the 2008 Dallas 48 Hour Film Project contest. Knowing that the story of "Clinetrap" was larger than could be shown in just 7 minutes, a restriction of the 48 Hour contest, the Panther City Team set out to film a few additional scenes and complete the story. Featuring famed Texas musician Zack King, the story of "Clinetrap" is part mystery, drama, sci-fi, and part Texas rock & roll. Rounding out "Clinetrap" is some great music from fellow Texas music legend Patrice Pike. "Clinetrap, TX" won Best Sci-Fi Film at the 2010 SouthSlam Film Festival.+ More details
