My children love playing in the tree outside our house, so I thought I would make a short film out of it. Plus it was kind of an excuse to try out a few pieces of equipment as well! I used a glidetrack SD for a lot of the shots, and the rest is on monopod. A lot of it was also shot using the Tokina wide angle 11-16 at 2.8 with an ND filter on it, which also gave the benefit of a really distinct blue sky with the polarisation. Apart from the darker shots, the rest were shot at between 5.6 and 11 on the 70-200 which I think helped with the focus issues I had on the last video. Close ups were a combination of the Canon 50mm 1.4 and the 60mm macro. I kind of overdid it a bit in post, but I wanted to see what I could get out of Twixtor (which I bought that morning!), and try pushing Particular to do natural looking leaves. The colour correction is probably a bit overdone (with a few too many different styles!), but it was an interesting test to see what I could do.+ More details
