Shot test clips of my niece hooping and hadn't given it much thought to use them. I plan on shooting at one of her performances. One of the photos I took of her that day she 'instagramed' it and that gave me an idea for this art video. Instagram to the 10th power perhaps? :) Made in After Effects. I love time-remapping!+ More details

Edited with Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 and used a modified Canon E-1 Movie Plugin v1.3 to transcode the h264 video files to AppleProRes422. I used Compressor to export a 470mb h264 video file. I paired the new Canon EOS Rebel T4i/650D with the Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L and EF 100mm f/2.8L IS lenses. As for audio, I used the Rode VideoMic shotgun microphone with the T4i/650D. The video footage of the Canon Rebel T4i/650D was shot with the new Canon EOS 5D Mark III paired with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens. For support, I used a Manfrotto 701 HDV video head with Benro 3580 tripod legs. The new Canon EOS Rebel T4i/650D featuring the Hybrid AF system for video, 9 points AF like the Canon 60D, 6 fps shutter for stills and the first touch screen capability for Canon DSLR's arrived almost 15 months after the revolutionary Canon Rebel T3i/600D. This is one of many Canon EOS Rebel T4i/650D Video Tests featuring the new capabilities of Canon's flagship entry level DSLR. A quick and dirty test of the new VisionColor Picture Style under natural lighting / documentary conditions. (please excuse the wobbly-ness of the video as this is merely a test of how the picture style reacts to light. a proper test in a more cinematic context will follow in a few days!) For more examples and information on the VisionColor Picture Style visit: www.vision-color.com Shot with an early version of VisionColor by beta testers Roy Neary & Jonas Doff. Shot by Simon Brazzola Get the Lightform Picture Style here: www.cineplus.ch Vimeo LightForm Group: https://vimeo.com/groups/lightform Lightform Features at a glance: RELIGHT Enhanced Dynamic Range Canon cameras have plenty of precious data hidden in the highlights. The only way to deploy it is to edit RAW photos or via a picture style that is able to take advantage of it. Lightform enhances the sensor's dynamic range by bringing down that useful data to a more visible range, before compression. As result, you get advantage of the full latitude of the sensor with a more faithful to reality dynamic range and more detail in the image upper range. RESKIN Yellow, orange and red spots in the highlights, unnaturally saturated skin tones.. Those are all problems that will make you crazy when you will try to eliminate them in post. Again, unless you edit the RAW photos, they will be printed to file and stay there to create problems. Lightform does all the work before compression, to deliver the best, most gorgeous skin tones out of the box. We tested it on models of all races, and in dark to bright conditions. True Colors that can let you spare hours of color correction. REGRADE Color grading is all about headroom. Thanks to the Lightform's headroom feature, you can, in post, rise the video level without destroying the highlights, and you can adjust the balance without overdriving colors. Of course Lightform can be used with -4 contrast for a greater latitude or at 0 contrast for a balanced, final look out of the box. The headroom is always present at all contrast settings. CINEMA Option As asked by many users, there must be a neutral version. So Lightform comes in 2 flavours: Lightform C (Cinema) with an enhanced version of the highly successful look of the Cineplus CINEMA Picture Style. Lightform N with neutral, untouched colors, for those who want full control of the image in post production.+ More details
