What began as a project to bring water to a Maasai school of 400 students in Losirwa, on the outskirts of Mto wa Mbu, in Tanzania, morphed into something much larger. The entire community of the Mto wa Mbu area, nearly 20,000 residents, are now benefiting from an increased water supply. Two years ago, a paved road was built running through the community. With it brought an influx of residents. This roadway had a water pipeline installed next to it. However, water hadn't been running through the pipeline. This project funded the implementation of a pipeline running from the source of the water, down to the roadway. Now majority of the community has water, including the children at the school in Losirwa. Thank you so much to all who contributed to help make this project a reality!

We had the privilege to install this pump on Nov 1, 2013. This is the well where the young lady fell in one of the hand dug wells near this well last year when FIA was close by in another village drilling. She passed away later that night. The man first pumping is pastor Lampo. After we installed the pump, he stood on the concrete pad and shared the gospel with the people gathered there. - Madeni, Burkina Faso
