Released as a limited edition 12" and Download EP on 26 May 2014 (2 June in North America). 3 tracks taken from the Greater Lengths All Saints label compilation and remix album. Current producers and artists working in a sympathetic idiom were invited to re-work and re-interpret some of the highlights from the All Saints archive. Trailer Audio: Harold Budd - Mandan (patten re-work) Video by Sally Sibbet for Pulse Films ABOUT HAROLD BUDD: Emerging from the 60s US avant-garde and originally influenced by the likes of John Cage and Morton Feldman, Harold Budd rebelled against the heavily conceptual works of his peers to explore his own artistic path of "existential prettiness". His early work caught the ear of Brian Eno, who invited him to England to record his first commercially released work The Pavilion Of Dreams (Obscure – 1978). This working relationship continued over the next decade, producing landmark works such as The Plateaux Of Mirror (EG – 1980) and The Pearl (EG – 1984). He went onto collaborate with other like-minded souls including the Cocteau Twins, John Foxx and Jah Wobble, and release an impressive stream of delicately constructed solo works, many of which have been issued on All Saints. Now resident back in his native California, Harold has recently completed the soundtrack to Gregg Araki’s latest film White Bird In A Blizzard (with longtime musical companion Robin Guthrie) and released an audio companion to the work of visual artist Jane Maru.
