I interviewed my friend Meredith Norton last summer for a documentary film on her book "Lopsided", and her long struggle with inflammatory breast cancer. We intended to film another interview session but her health declined and we were never able to continue. So I edited all the video we did shoot and this is my tribute to Meredith. I will miss her deeply. Her quick wit and dry, deadpan sense of humor that we shared. Her quirky way of looking at every situation. And her many talents, interests and passions, including her 9-year-old son Luca. The world is a little less brilliant without her lightness.

Author and Supreme Court Justice (Pop to me)Edwin Torres, discusses the history of Pleasant Avenue while strolling in the hood. It is the subject of his latest screen play and it is fascinating to hear how heroin arrived into this country, specifically in the five block radius of Pleasant Avenue. I am sure Fox News would tell an entirely different story but they would be wrong. The entire doc is about 25 minutes. More excerpts to come. Enjoy!! Pleasant Avenue, what a misnomer!
