inspired by the music of boon my final project deals with the themes of physicality and relationship-- both the physicality of human bodies and bodies of water, the relationship between people and nature. i attempt to express this by portraying layered visuals that match with the emotions and intensity of the music. ultimately, this piece is not a narrative. it is overwhelmingly an experimental piece-- experimenting with layering visuals on top of each other. however there is a clear voice in the song that touches on a deteriorating relationship; of love that once was, but now is empty and meaningless. while this may not be what's honest for me, nor the driving force behind my film, i wanted to show that through the emotions of the subject of my film as well.
