BodyWorks The Journey video was an inspired idea between Amber Dow and myself. Having the pleasure of meeting Amber and attending her Art opening Bodyworks The Journey sponsored by West Georgia Health and Breast Friends for Life in LaGrange GA. The idea of a video was intriguing. Amber documented the art, as well as the written stories in BodyWorks The Journey book which include the works of people who have survived breast cancer or other life threatening illnesses. The survivors were given a paper mache' torso and instructed to tell their journey through their own illness by creating a personal piece of art on the torso. Recording the survivors stories on video would give this incredible project greater depth as well as create a tool to help others facing life threatning illnesses. There were many people involved in this project and they are listed in the end credits of this video. This video is not for profit. This project has been the most moving and worthy experience for me as a videographer and I am greatful for being a part of this. Tee Marvin
