            The Hunter Electric Vehicle festival is held once a year in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. It is an occasion where electric vehicles of all forms are present, some of which compete against each other in races in a variety of classes. This video focusses only on a small proportion of the vehicles present at the festival, with the main focus being electric vehicles that are a proven and practical transport solution for the present and the future. The video covers commercial vehicles, everyday vehicles suitable for the commuter and family, electric racing vehicles that compete against internal combustion powered vehicles. The video also feature electric motorcycles and electric bicycles. We get a view of the future with a solar car that has broken world records and who’s developers are on a path to converting the vehicle so it can be road legal. Finally we get an insight on how to ensure electric vehicles can be used as clean transport solutions in society at this time.
