A while ago i was talking to a friend about how it seems that a lot of the kids, when they start snowboarding, straight head for the park and don't really care about learning to turn their board properly. I think it's interesting that you straight wanna go for the advanced stuff and then, when you get a little older, all of a sudden you come back to the basics. Or at least that's how it's been for me, i got really into turns over the last couple years and find it amazing that the most simple and basic thing there is in snowboarding can be so much fun. I'm fascinated by the many different ways you can actually do a turn and how you can use all those to slow down, keep or gain speed so you can link together your tricks. Or to put it differently, you can just do a whole lot more if you know how to use those edges. It's also nothing spectacular and seldom something where people go crazy when they see it, but still, it just feels good to do a smooth turn. I don't know, maybe that's just me. However, the list of people with a good turn is long, even though i could barely think of any when we were recording this before and so forgot to mention some more obvious ones like Wolle Nyvelt, Bryan Fox or Blair Habenicht...and there's still plenty more that i forgot...+ More details

First of all, feels good to be back on track! I have been riding quite a lot this fall on the glacier in Saas-Fee. The park has been very good this year and my knee is back 100% as well. I will be chasing the powder in BC, Alaska and hopefully Tahoe. I have more motivation than ever to film a solid part for the new Burton movie. I hope you guys follow my powder dreams through out the season. Thanks to all my sponsors and followers. Thanks you very much.! Fredi K+ More details
