Back to the Drawing Board, is a series of 24-hour take-overs of Benchspace, CCCD’s gallery & workshop, intended to provoke conversation, expose process, and invite participation. During the first event in the series, 'Performance Crafting: Hand in Hand' with Tanya Aguiñiga, visitors learned the wet felting techniques best known in Aguiñiga’s furniture and product design and applied it directly to bodies, experiencing the materiality of wool and creating a communal experience of making. from Plan Academy Added 59 0 0

The Adolescent Reproductive Health project was implemented by Plan Bangladesh in partnership with the government. 200,000 young people were reached through life skill training, which gave them the confidence to advocate against child marriage in their villages and share their concerns openly with their parents, council members and teachers. Peer parenting groups were also set up to allow parents to get together and discuss the issues they face raising teenagers. Topics such as menstruation which are normally considered taboo and not discussed were openly talked about and parents were urged to have frank discussions with their children rather than ignoring sensitive subjects.

This film is part of the reporting on Baptist World Aid Australia's Child Centred Community Development Learning Project. The ‘Children Driving Change’ film captures the voices of community members, in particularly Child Partners. Selected Child Partners were given video cameras to make a mini-film about the CCCD project. These films were created without adult input to allow the children to film the aspects of the project they were interested in and express things they wanted to include. The Learning Project was funded through an AusAID Innovations Grant.
