UPDATE: Rosco finally got some songs up on Itunes. If you're interested in hearing more of his music, search his album: Rosco Wuestewald "The Secrets Of Marindahl" The song in this video was written and performed by an old friend of mine, Rosco Wuestewald. He has found himself in NY city for the time being, after traveling around Europe. During his travels he had written many songs and this was one of them. He laid this down in one take referring to lyrics he had scribbled down in a notebook. After recording this session, I immediately knew i wanted to put a video together and this is what i came up with. - shot with the 7d - sound recorded with H4N Zoom/internal mic only - used the steadicam pilot - used the Canon 1D mark IV for one shot+ More details

(I apologize for the sound which is less than ideal...) On Queens Drive in Lyall Bay, Wellington, New Zealand, lies a cute little deli, called "Quee Sally's Diamond Deli". It opened in 2009 when their big sister cafe Maranui (also in Lyall Bay) burned down. It was supposed to be a temporary place for the customers to get their lovely coffee and delicious food, but as time went by and Maranui reopened, it turned out that the little deli was going really well, and its doors are still open. If you want to visit the deli and/or know more about it, check out their website: http://www.queens.co.nz/ Also, I forgot to thank Rose and Fale in the credits of this video! So Thanks girls for helping me to make this video. =o) Enjoy! I attended a 1 day workshop in Wellington, NZ the other day. The course concentrated on showing professional photographers on how to transfer in to video making with the DSLR cameras. It was a good informative workshop. We got an hour to film real models, which was very interesting. I very rarely film people unfortunately, I am concentrating more on nature, tourism and video recipes. So this was a learning curve for me. I wish I could shoot actors or models more often and get much better. Here's one of the versions I've cut together. I used a Canon 1D mark IV, edited on FCP and graded in Color. There isn't much grading done on this video. I wish I had filmed in 50fps and then slowed down the clips, but that's something I can do another time. Special thanks to the model Natalie from Kirsty Bunn Management in Wellington, New Zealand. Music: Madrugada - "Hold On To You"+ More details
