Lomo 35-NAP2-3M Anamorphic Lens Canon G12 camera recording in 640x480 Footage interpreted as Pixel Aspect Ratio 2:1 in Adobe Premiere Pro Color Grading using DiVinci Resolve 11 Lite Rendered to 720p video h.264 I rested the lens on a sandbag, and propped the G12 up behind it zooming in as little as possible so that the left and right frame edges of the anamorphic glass would match that of the 640 pixel wide video. Testing out the big Lomo anamorphic lens for flare and dirt. The coating on the lens is quite warn and spotty, but overall it looks ok. This lens will eventually be mounted in front of a 16mm film camera. This is the first test with this lens.

During our walkabout in Tokyo We made the decision to walk across the famous intersection outside the Shibuya train station. You can not come to Japan and not visit this area. You won't regret it. This video is a tilt-shift of the pedestrians crossing, shot from the window of the StarBucks overlooking the intersection. Video shot with a Canon G12 camera. 1 shot every 17 minutes for about 2 weeks with a Canon G12. Plants lit with 3 x 3w led lamps, the wrong colour temp/intensity maybe why the dwarf daffodils grew up out of frame. Music by my niece Kate.

                      from Ronan Dugan Added 1,173 7 0

Alaska. Wildness, mountains, grizzly bears and glaciers. For most, that is the postcard image they see of Alaska. But many people do not realise that Alaska stretches across the Bering Sea towards Russia in a storm wracked chain of islands known as the Aleutians. This is the part of Alaska which is unseen by most. During the summer of 2012 I lived on one of the remotest Aleutian Islands. We were closer to Russia that we were to mainland Alaska! The island's name is Buldir, and is home to several million breeding seabirds. Myself and six other biologists spent the summer on this small island paradise studying the seabirds which nest upon this unique island. Our work was part of an ongoing study being carried out by the US Fish and Wildlife Service to look at the ecological changes on Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge. During my time on the island I took delight in watching the wildlife and ever-changing ocean-scapes. My camera was always by my side and this short film is the result of a summer spent on a small island alongside wild nature. The film was captured using a Canon 7D and G12. Various filming techniques were used including time lapse. Final Cut Pro was used to edit the final film.
