I shot this music video for Bryant Moore and his band The Celestial Shore in 2007, sometime in the autumn. Initially, the video was to depict a sullen Bryant wandering around his house, going through the banal motions of a solitary man living alone while a giant party raged around him, everywhere he wasn't looking. He would never see the party directly, but would glimpse subtle hints of it here and there. But, when it came time to shoot, only 4 people besides Bryant and myself showed up. So we ditched the original plan and just filmed everyone jamming on the song, switching instruments for every take, trying to stuff in as many continuity errors as possible. Halfway through the shoot a few more courageous people showed up - still not enough to justify a party, but enough to fill the frame with pretty faces. It was a fun day. I quite like the rapid-fire, punch-counterpunch editing style. And the streamers are neat. I'd like to use that idea again on a much bigger scale. Tags

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
