    SHASTA LAKE - Five different C.V. players each scored at least one touchdown as the Falcons rolled to their second win in a row here Sept. 9, 2011 with a 47-13 victory over the Henley Hornets of Klamath Falls, Ore.       After seeing their hopes of an NAL title slip away by losing three of their last four league games, the Central Valley Falcons stormed back in the playoffs defeating Sutter, West Valley and finally Orland in the championship game to capture the Northern Section CIF Division IV title on March 5, 2011 at California State University, Chico. The Falcons edged the Trojans in a thriller, 52-49. Watch more than 16 minutes of the game and celebration here. PLEASE NOTE: There were some problems during the first half with the camera up in the stands. The video jumps around a bit and there is no crowd noise.         No. 3 seeded Central Valley captured the Div. IV title after defeating No. 1 seed Orland, 52-49, in the Northern Section finals at Chico State's Acker Gymnasium on Saturday, March 5, 2011. This is the second section title in four years and just the third in the school's 50-plus year history. For the California Interscholastic Federation state playoffs, the 7th seeded Falcons (18-10) on Tuesday host 10th seeded Summerville (24-5) of the San Joaquin section.

          SHASTA LAKE - The Central Valley Falcons pulled off a shocker here Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 as they upset the league leading West Valley Eagles 20-14 in the regular season finale. Jared Dressel scored two touchdowns for the injury-plagued Falcons - one on a 10-yard pass from quarterback Kody Corbell late in the first half, and the second on a 40-yard run early in the second half. Johnny Saephan added a third score, a 42-yard TD run, in the fourth quarter. The two teams will meet again Friday, Nov. 12, in Cottonwood in the first round of the Northern Section CIF Division II playoffs. BONUS FOOTAGE: See the final two minutes of the Central Valley vs. West Valley JV game. The two teams, each with a 3-0 league record, were playing for the NAL title.
