An up close, high def ride on the the Holiday Train Display at the Cincinnati Museum Center. One of the largest in the world, the display has been a Cincinnati tradition since 1946. Built in "O gauge," the models are 1/4 scale to the foot of the actual trains they are modeled after. Featuring over 1,000 feet of track and nearly 350 vehicles, the trains will travel over 100,000 scales models over the course of the holiday season. Holiday Junction featuring the Holiday Trains runs from November 8th - January 5th, 2013 at the Cincinnati Museum Center. For more information visit: CincyMuseum.org. For the 2011 holiday season we decided to bring back some of the magic that used to live in our Race street windows when they were part of Shillitos department store. We pulled out all the stops on this one and really made something special. Be sure to check out the Behind the Scenes video to hear more from the talented team of designers who made it all happen.

One year later, almost to the date, the three friends decided to take that thought more seriously. Rearranging their lives so they would be in the same location in Michigan, the members move...d in together and put things in motion to became a real band. Their objective with Hollow Earth was to write sincere music and begin touring as much as possible. Quickly recruiting Dave Giandiletti (Guitar) and Jake Hicks (Bass) to complete the line up they wrote a six song EP entitled We Are Not Humanity within the two and half months of their inception and headed off to record at Getaway Group in Massachusetts with Jay Maas (Defeater, Verse, Shipwreck). On We Are Not Humanity Hollow Earth draw on the influence of legendary bands like Turmoil and Buried Alive, capturing the energy and anger of hardcore that has been lost on so many new bands. Hollow Earth's lyrics are dark with thought provoking premonitions that paint a picture of impending doom that threatens the human existence. Riding into our demise, there's no turning back, the decimation of our world is eminent and Hollow Earth is the perfect soundtrack to play us out. We Are Not Humanity will be released on April 17th, 2012 through Panic Records on CD, Vinyl and Digital formats. source: facebook

Holly & Chris I met these two...I don't even remember when, its been forever. I've slowly been counting the days down to this wedding. Holly said at bridal prep "when you met with us, you had on jeans and a t-shirt and I knew you were the one we were going to choose for our video." That was a great quote! Holly I've never seen anyone lay down on a bed and get lashes cut off - mad props; That would have terrified me! At groom prep - Chris had on a killer batman shirt, so I had to mention that! I went to the hotel around 8AM for makeup - as I had to get my silhouette shot. "you really want to come that early for makeup?" Bride prep was awesome. I crushed a snickers, M&Ms (which the maid of honor totally stole some) and gummy worms - they were all shocked! The reception was alive and the crowd was wild - even better. Holly & Chris thanks a ton for hiring us, I loved putting this piece together and how you wrote your own vows..."to always leave the volume on an even number.." my favorite line ever. Thanks for letting me take that picture with the Polaroid camera from 72' - as I am sure your eyes were fried from that flash..yikes! A big shout out to Chris for knowing what my hoodie was from...good stuff! The cool kids: Photography: http://www.innovatoryphotography.com/home DJ: http://partypleasersdj.com Now for my fellow tech geeks and video peeps. bride prep I bounced around with the mark iii and mark ii. I had the mark iii with the 85 1.2 and the mark ii with the 50 1.4, so whatever I needed to use I just switched to save some time. Mike used the 5d ii with a 35 1.4 only. Since the guys move around a lot more it's easier to have a little bit of a wider shot. Ceremony we both stuck with a 135F2 the majority of the time. I still rocked the day out with the monopod Manfrotto 561BHDV1 to be exact. It's a killer toy. Reception first dances 85 1.2 and 50 1.4 Tascam and H4N zooms for audio. minor glidecam4000 work. Color graded with magic bullet. Avid > FInal cut (ill get some heat for that statement I'm sure.)
