        John Dill is a passionate man who thinks he can help change the world with… packing peanuts ! Recognizing that polystyrene won’t degrade and poisons our oceans and aquatic life in particular, John partnered with his friend Len Beckett who wanted to bring vegetable starch-based packing peanuts manufacturing to North-Eastern Washington. A factory was set up in Spokane, WA. It now cranks a packing material that dissolves in water and is perfectly compostable. But what this factory also cranks is an opportunity for all of us to make a conscious choice to either do things better and reverse the poisoning of our world, or continue down a path of self-destruction. What John and Len really manufacture is hope that we can make it. {3808 N. Sullivan Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99216}

Why should you use compostable plastic vs. traditional plastic clamshell containers? Have you ever noticed a “plastic taste” when drinking from a disposable plastic cup? It’s not just “taste” you’re drinking. Endocrine disrupting chemicals that have been linked to cancer are leaching into your beverage and body. This happens with food too! By using compostable plastic clamshell containers made from corn plastic (Poly Lactic Acid) you can cut out the toxins and switch to a material that is natural and healthy to use – for you, your customers, and for the environment! Demonstrate your values and show your customers that you care about them and the environment. Features of PLA Clamshell Containers • As light and strong as plastic • Designed for stackability • Handles food temperatures up to 110 degrees • Perfect for grab 'n go foods like fruit, salads, and sandwiches • Not meant to be microwaved • Store in a cool place, away from direct sunlight • Certified biodegradable by BPI About Good Start Packaging: We sell compostable take out containers and food packaging throughout the US.
