Twas a late weekend in March, and all weekend it was cold as fuck, yet we were warmed up by 3 dirt-bagging ladies we met camping in SuperBowl, Indian Creek. Our entire crew really connected, and we were soon all climbing together. Actually we were soon hunting eggs because they thought it was Easter, shooting bow and arrows, teasing each other lots, sharing hats and beer, and mentioning genitals around the campfire like we'd known each other for hours, at least. This video is mostly of Maddie climbing, a soul I'm still processing......her infectious stoke and penetrating eyes. Occasionally, we just go climbing on weekends. Fortunately though most of the time I climb with a crew that appreciates experiencing new awesome people just as much as they do the climbing.

This is a simple crack machine we built to help teach new crack climbers the basics of technique. The exercise is quite fun: Pick the board up on one end, and climb to the other end (straight on) without dropping it, it's quite challenging and feels quite accurate to the real thing. Of course, like always, the crux section is the ringlocks. The trick, is to then do it the other way:)
