Web Warriors is a one-hour documentary that offers an unprecedented glimpse into the world's newest and most vulnerable frontier: cyberspace. We enter the world of hackers like Mafia Boy - a 15 year old high school student who rose to infamy in 2000 by causing millions of dollars in damage after single-handedly shutting down internet giants - including Yahoo, Amazon, eBay, Dell, eTrade, and CNN. Web Warriors offers rare interviews with cyber sleuths from the FBI, the Pentagon, NATO, and the Department of Homeland Security who explain how cyberspace has become the latest battle ground between nation states and how terrorist groups are already plotting their next move. We'll meet hackers like Donnie who goes on a journey into the Russian cyber underground as he searches for the creators of a computer virus with the hopes of collecting the $250,000 bounty being offered by Microsoft. cbc dot ca / documentaries / doczone / 2008 / webwarriors /

Watch this film! The Obama Deception has drawn fierce attacks since its release in March 2009– not only strong words attempting to discredit the powerful information the film puts forward, but in attempts to limit and block the film online. Nevertheless, an estimated 25 million have seen the film worldwide, thanks to hundreds of online versions and DVDs handed out by dedicated activists. It's Day One of Cyber Security Awareness Week 2013 (27 May) so sit back and watch our tribute to Indiana Jones and a quest to find a strong password. Password best practice is one of our computer security Tight 5 and we encourage everyone to aim for a password made up of a mix of 15 letters, characters and symbols (http://www.securitycentral.org.nz). In the Password Monday video we've tried to take a light hearted approach to promoting the importance of computer security. Passwords should be: * Strong * Kept a secret * Unique * Changed often LINKS: -> http://www.securitycentral.org.nz/about-security-central/an-introduction-to-cybersecurity/ -> http://www.securitycentral.org.nz/cybersecurity-for-home-internet-users/passwords-creating-strong-and-unique-passphrases/ ABOUT THE VIDEO: Using strong passwords is a key message for CSAW 2013. We deal with so many people at NetSafe who have had accounts compromised and lost data or had scam emails sent out to friends via their email address. Many times this is due to the use of one simple password to secure multiple sites and services. In this video we talk with Aucklanders about strong passwords and float the idea of using perhaps the longest place name in the world. We then visit Taumata Hill to speak with locals and find out what they think makes a strong password. CREDITS: Many thanks go to all the Jafas who stopped to talk with us and the great people of Porangahau, Hawkes Bay who are used to people asking about the longest place name in New Zealand - read more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu. Thanks also go to Tony Burrows at Motion Pacific (http://www.motionpacific.co.nz) for his hard work on all 5 videos for CSAW 2013. CSAW 2013 is supported by Google, HP, Image Centre Group, Microsoft, Sophos, Symantec, Telecom, Trade Me - http://www.securitycentral.org.nz/about-security-central/our-programme-sponsors/

                      What are Tags?

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
