This is a neat film, I forget where I got it, from 1955. It showcases bicycle touring in the UK countryside, using trains to get to the touring destination. It's idyllic, makes me want to do something just like it.

http://koreanrooftop.com/category/korean-rooftop-videos/jeju-island-film/ In July 2013 we travelled for over 2 weeks around Jeju Island, South Korea by bicycle. Along the way we visited Udo, or Cow Island, off the East coast of Jeju Island. We explored the island by foot and came across a Buddhist temple surrounded by windswept peanut fields. We met the lone monk living there and enjoyed several cups of tea and coffee. The monk also introduced us to his friends, a Haenyeo (female ocean diver) and a Japanese Butoh dancer staying at the temple. We interviewed all three. This is the interview with the remarkable Japanese Butoh dancer Masamichi Shibasaki. Butoh is a Japanese contemporary dance-form that first appeared after World War 2. Shibasaki lived in the temple on Udo Island for over a month, preparing for a performance festival on the Island, “The Earth Station”. The interview is part of our soon to be released film Jeju Island by Bicycle. The film tells the story of our 2 ½ week journey around Jeju Island with a focus on the amazing people and places we discover along the way.

We rode for two-weeks around South Korea's Jeju Island last summer with our 10 year old. The experience was great - although windy, hot & humid, it was exciting to find new places and meet new people everyday. For more info go to http://koreanrooftop.com Jeju Island is a really popular holiday destination with a hot, subtropical summer. It has stunning landscapes, orange groves, beautiful beaches, incredibly friendly people and bike paths. In fact it has a bike-path that circumnavigates almost the entire island. We're making a film about our whole trip, with primarily interviews with the people we met while riding around the island, and it will be released in a couple of months. You can get a peak of the film below, where we interviewed a Butoh Dancer who was staying at Udo Island. https://vimeo.com/79861081 Subscribe to our channel or join our facebook page to find out when it's ready and to get more info on traveling in South Korea. https://www.facebook.com/KoreanRooftop Music: "Lonesome Lover" by Dion Hall

by Enrico Macrelli This is a short film made in Iceland during the adventure called "Tour Iceland in Mountain-Bike" in summer 2012, in which we discovered this beautiful country and its internal desert route of Kjölur. The adventure is part of a project called "Scopri il Mondo sui Pedali" (Discover the World on Pedals) created by a set of ideas of four friends to rediscover the culture of travel. It is a way to see the world through different eyes and share the desire for knowledge, respect and solidarity with other peoples and cultures. The key issue is the protection of the environment, natural, geological and historical heritage of the places visited. The project aims to make "uncomfortable" travels but that are guaranteed to reach places absolutely unusual, and experience impossible to forget. After the experience of North Cape in 2010, this year raid by cycling, trekking, rafting are going to discover Iceland, covering over 1200 km in mountain-bike without any means of support but relying on their own resources, a journey into the land of extreme contrasts that flows around the Arctic Circle. Volcanoes, glaciers, lava fields, geothermal areas, black sand beaches formed wild landscapes that, according to the weather conditions and the intensity of light, can evoke the beginning or the end of the world. A great movie of the story will be released soon.
