Tara couldn't make Christmas dinner this year so we dedicated our first ever song to her. It also serves as our contribution to the gift that Erin put together for her with the rest of her friends and family. I know it's really bad, but it's full of love.

                from Mike O'Laughlin / Added

From the Irish Roots Cafe, Mike O'Laughlin sings this favorite song that ties so many generations together. It is an outstanding tune in and of itself. More than a song, it is a reminder of friends, family, and the times that have gone before us. The song itself descends from Londonderry Aire (Derry Aire ) a traditional Irish tune. These words were later penned circa 1910 and published in sheet music to that tune in 1913 by Frederick Weatherly. A podcast on the song is also available on the singers home page at www.Irishroots.com This video was recorded, produced and sung by Mike O'Laughlin, in Kansas City. (Produced on a Macintosh computer via garage band and iMovie.). This version was made in preparation for the album: 'Irish Song, Traditional and Sean Nós', released in 2013. also available at: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/michaelcolaughlin

"Pink Gators, my Detroit Players" Biggie said it best when he described what it is to be fashionable in the D. Hush is back with that same player bravado that made him one of the most prolific and consistent emcees from Detroit. After taking a hiatus from the industry to manage a multi-million dollar non-profit that he co-founded (www.detroitdogrescue.com), he's back with a new sound and album "Danny Boy (The Life & Times of a Kid in the D).
