No Messages is an award-winning Irish short film. A slice-of-life short comedy, it follows Dave, a beleaguered Irish barman, over the course of one long day. As he waits for an important phonecall Dave has to put up with advice from his hungover boss and the pub's irritating regular (aptly named The Cock). But sometimes when you're drifting aimlessly, that much-needed kick up the arse can come when you least expect it. “...like the pilot for a situation comedy that you might actually want to watch. The acting was confident. The jokes were secure.” - Donald Clarke, The Irish Times. Written & Directed by Cian McGarrigle Produced by Eoin Lynch Starring: Rory Connolly, David Murray, Eric Lalor & Lacy Moore Winner: *Best International Short* - Jersey Shore Shorts Festival 2014 *Best Short* - Canada International Film Festival 2013 *Best Acting* - LIT Film Festival 2013 *Best Screenplay* - Underground Cinema Awards 2012 *Best Short Film* (Runner Up) - Waterford Film Festival 2012 Official Selection: *Capital Irish Film Festival 2015* *Jersey Shore Shorts Festival 2014* *ClujShorts International Short Film Festival 2014* *Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2013* *Orlando Film Festival 2013* *Hidden Film Festival Dublin/Toronto 2013* *Fastnet Short Film Festival 2013* *Canada International Film Festival 2013* *Belfast Film Festival 2013* *Berlin Independent Film Festival 2013* *LIT Film Festival 2013* *NYC International Film Festival 2012* *Bronx Independent Film Festival 2012* *Cambridge Film Festival 2012* *Galway Film Fleadh 2012* *Corona Cork Film Festival 2012* *Underground Film Festival 2012* *Waterford Film Festival 2012*

Jack Flinter is skating on thin ice, drifting through life, dealing a bit of hash, drinking and screwing around. His girlfriend has had enough. His friend and partner is strung out, his behaviour unpredictable. Their latest scheme has them in over their heads. As the shit hits the fan, Jack meets Isabelle, a German woman visiting the city. The story takes place over a few days and nights when all Jack’s chickens come home to roost. His life spinning out of control, he has to make a decision - sink or swim. This award-winning film directed by Fintan Connolly has been proclaimed one of the gutsiest films to come out of Ireland in recent years. “Brilliantly taps into the self-aware beat of Dublin today, a youth culture of clubbing, drugs and casual sex” SUNDAY TRIBUNE “an excellent new Irish film - one of the most talked about films of the year” RTE GUIDE “reveals Connolly as a film maker of considerable talent” THE IRISH TIMES “a triumph for local filmmaking” IRISH FILM INSTITUTE “superb” THE SUNDAY TIMES

Sure, it's not original. Sure, there are thousands of versions of this clip all over youtube. Sure, we're ten years late. But damn this was fun. Warning: Like most rap songs, the music in the background not intended for sensitive ears or the easily offended (contains many bad words)! Warning 2: This video may be offensive to people who LOVE their copier. Here's the original (and best). Office Space: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_v90q0ydxMI
