Over the course of their annual camping trip, the bond of friendship between two fifty-something men, Pat and Stan, slowly erodes away to reveal their long hidden animosity toward one another. As the day progresses, their slow but steady consumption of their favorite libations turns into binging, and a dark moment from their past begins to unravel. An event so destructive, that one friend must turn to the bottle in order to face the events of that fateful day, while the other’s descent into inebriation helps him to forget.

A broken man finds something to live for after his neighbour summons forth a horde of demons to kill everyone in his small town. Shot this in 2005. It was the only movie I've ever shot - and will ever shoot - on 16mm. In my 3rd year of school it was a requirement to shoot on 16mm. Film school is not for poor kids. It went on to screen at The Toronto International Film Festival, Toronto After Dark Film Festival, Fantasia Film Festival, Independent Film Festival of Boston, World Wide Shorts International Short Film Festival, and a handful of others.

slashstick [ ˈslashstɪk ] NOUN 1. comedy based on deliberately clumsy actions and humorously embarrassing events, mixed with 1980s slasher style narrative and gore: "slashstick humour" 2. the film Slash, about a monstrously deformed killer and the sadistic games he plays with his potential prey: "that movie Slash was a fuckin' trip, man. You gotta see it."

This is a podcast I did for my Art History class last year. It is pretty freaking good, if I do say so myself. The topic: artistic representations of decapitation. I apologize for the audio quality. I was using a pretty crappy microphone. Enjoy.
