Film „Mistrzowie” łączy rekonstruowane sceny z archiwalnymi walkami oraz emocjonującymi wywiadami z Markiem Wahlbergiem, Denzelem Washingtonem, 50 Centem, Ronem Howardem, Spike’iem Lee i Mary J. Blige. Dokument Breta Marcusa jest czymś więcej niż zwykły dokument o sporcie. Próbując dociec, do czego prowadzi pogoń za Amerykańskim Snem, portretuje złożony i nieoczywisty świat kontrowersyjnego i niebezpiecznego sportu.

Basicc’s full feature commentary of The Equalizer, in Basicc’s words, from boring agenda-setters and art-murderers, Columbia Pictures. I have never been so disappointed with a film to date, and never ever so disappointed with a Denzel Washington movie. As always, the hero is ex-CIA and the bad guys are ruthless, tactless Russians. The stereotype/agenda just keeps growing and growing as the stories surrounding it get lamer and lamer. Denzel Washington stars as The Equalizer, Robert McCall. We know absolutely nothing about this guy, even at the end of the movie, except that he like sto equalize things. The only character with any development, but it’s the oldest cliche development that was a stereotype in the Roaring 20’s, is Teri, played by Kickass’ very own Chloe Grace Moretz, who plays a forced hooker of the Russian mobs who dreams of pursuing a musical career. Denzel Washington is a quiet Home Depot worker who trains fat guys to become security guards and suddenly snaps and starts viciously murdering Russians. He takes on other elements of crime too, but he only kills Russians, and gives them a gruesome death too, while rubbing it in as they die before him. He goes on this big killing spree, first cleaning about America from all the Russian mob ties, then chasing them back to Russia to finish the job. Just like in Book of Eli, Denzel Washington again has superhero fighting skills in The Equalizer that are never explained and make him look like Superman without the backstory. Instead of Batman vs. Superman, they should do The Equalizer vs. Batman. He can take on a room full of armed men without even a gun in his own hand. The film also stars three key Russian bad guys, Marton Csokas as Teddy the tattooed hitman, Alex Veadov as Tevi the cutthroat Russian hooker trafficker, and Russian mafia kingpin David Meunier as Slavi. America never seemed happy about Russians, and this movie shows a resurgence in that unhappiness. The film was written by Richard Wanker, I mean, Richard Wenk, who also wrote a few other weak screenplays too. The Equalizer is so slow, so boring, and is held together only by the Russians that Denzel the Equalizer demolishes in his wake. The Equalizer commentary by Basicc, produced by BetterStream, edited by Peter McGrain.
