This is an unrehearsed run-through of a princiapl giving feedback to a teacher and both discussing the depth of knowledge of an imaginary assignment. The discussion following was not recorded because the device was full, but we hope this video can be a starting point for you with your team or school. We owe our budding understanding of depth of knowledge and cognitive rigor to the work of Karin Hess and to the dedicated consultants of the Leadership and Learning Center who have offered guidance and support each step of the way. Not seen, but key to this discussion at Bruce Drysdale are our Lead Teacher, Oscar Robinson, and the phenomenal teachers and assistants who are living this work with students every day.
