Episode 43 is the last official video for the year of 2011. We had our yearly wrap up video done last week, and we are looking forward to 2012. This episode covers a lot of local racing in the TORO, TORN and TCCRA circuits. Texas is wrapping up the year as well and has had quite a few champions crowned. To start off though, we head to Lodz, Poland, where round 2 of the 2012 FIM Super Enduro took place. This used to be the FIM Indoor World Enduro, but with a fun name and logo change, it is still a good time. Taddy Blazusiak continued his domination from the Endurocross Series over the pond by winning all three mains in Poland. With one round left to go, the Europeans have a lot to do to step up their game. Bringing it back to our side of the pond, we had a lot of racing going on in Texas. TORN had to reschedule their last race of the season because they were rained out a few weeks ago. TORO was happening in Denton, TX on the Storrie Farm and the TCCRA Banquet was Saturday night in Waxahachie, TX. All this racing lead to a lot of driving miles and a lot of dirt bikers on the road. The rescheduled TORN race had to be truncated to fit on their ATV weekend. So they had a ton of racing going on. Most races were cut to 45 minutes to fit all of their classes in. Cheyenne Harmon had a prosperous weekend as he was up front early on Saturday and Sunday, getting the wins as well on both days. Austin Henderson also had a great weekend of racing, finishing second on both days. This helped him wrap up his first TORN Championship (Congrats Austin). Dalton Green was third on Saturday and Martin Howell was third on Sunday. Get ready, because TORN picks back up February 11-12 for the 2012 season. The 2011 banquet will be that weekend as well. There were quite a few TORN and TCCRA racers that made all three events. They are some dedicated racers and we appreciate them for their awesomeness. Tiffany Vardell helped fellow TORO staff member Joanna Ruckdeschell make the trek to the TORN race so she could wrap up her first championship. Sunday morning though, they woke up and lined up on the line together to battle it out in the Ladies Intermediate class. Stories like these ring of the great sportsmanship in our sport. Thanks to these ladies for being awesome as well. The second race in the line up was the one that had the Pro’s lined up ready to do battle. Many spectators were wondering if Cole Kirkpatrick could keep the momentum going as he has already won the past two TORO’s. Things were looking good from the start, as Kirkpatrick, Bryan Vaughn and Cooper Bailey were the first three to the first turn. But Vaughn kept his speed and nabbed the holeshot as Kirkpatrick and Bailey rubbed plastics. Cameron Ishmael, Caleb Ramsay and Haydn Franklin are all past TORO champions and all are capable of winning. Franklin had bike issues on Saturday and had to ride a borrowed bike for Sunday’s race. Ishmael and Ramsay kept to the standard of poor starts, as they were the last two off the line. But unlike the first two races, they were both battling up front within the first mile. Kirkpatrick had a fair lead on Ishmael and Ramsay, but all three started their seventh lap before the checkered came out. This was good news for Kirkpatrick because he ran out of gas about 2.5 miles from the finish. Ishmael said this wasn’t the way he wanted to get a win, but he’ll take it. Ramsay was close, but admitted he was pretty tired on that last lap and was running on steam. Ishmael and Ramsay have had some great battles, and if they can get better starts, we know they will be challenging Kirkpatrick from the beginning. Looking forward to 2012, we are excited about our great partnership with FLY Racing as the official Gear Sponsor of Seat Time. They think what we do is worth some recognition and for that we are thankful. Please help support all of our show sponsors by getting their products and adding some awesomeness to your steed. We started this journey around 6 months ago. And I had no idea what was in store for this movie about Carlo Gagliardo. But, I did know that it was gonna be wild, crazy and a whole-lotta fun! I'm bummed that it's all over but then again, I sort-of get to relive how this whole thing came together as I take all the footage and begin to mold together the final DVD. Not to mention there is already talk about A Day in the Life of Carlo G, Part 2! Wheelies, big jumps, 120 mph on a sport bike track, back flips... it's all here. Enjoy!

With the new to us couch, it is nothing but a good time when guests come over. This week's guest is none other than Texas native Cole Kirkpatrick. He had so much fun last time he was on Seat Time, he had to come back for me. The discussions covering the recent Endurocross double header in Vegas and his win at the most recent TORO event were epic awesomeness. Also, his opinions on current off-road news make him the perfect guest to counterbalance Brian's random, beer drinking ways. The double header in Vegas was nothing but racing for the history books. Taddy Blazsusiak wrapped up the first ever perfect Endurocross season with dominating wins in both mains. He shot out front in the first main, getting the holeshot and taking the checkered. In the second main, Kyle Redmond got the holeshot, giving Taddy a bit of a fight, but once he got round Redmond, he carried his momentum to the top of the podium. Mike Brown and Justin Soule all showed great performances in Vegas. Brown was fourth and third while Soule was second and fourth. Taylor Robert, Cory Graffunder and Cody Webb all showed signs of greatness, but didn't have what it took to beat out Taddy. The 2012 season is going to take up a lot of the west coast next year, so the east coast might have to travel a bit. We look forward to the series coming back to the east so we can all attend and support the scene. Locally in Texas we had Round 2 of the TORO Series in Thackerville, OK. From the recon, the track looked epic and ready for racing. The property didn't get the moisture that was expected though and the track deteriorated to became quite the silty, sandy mess by Sunday. The Pro's took to the course first during the 9am race. Bryan Vaughn edged out Cole Kirkpatrick for the holeshot, but Kirkpatrick quickly got around Vaughn and took off to gain a large lead. Cameron Ishmael and Caleb Ramsey didn't get the starts they wanted and had to fight their way up through the pack. Once Ishmael and Ramsey made it to the front, they were battling for second place. Though they did start to close the gap Kirkpatrick had, Kirkpatrick was still able to win with over a 30 second margin. Ishmael was able to hold off Ramsey during the last lap, with them finishing second and third respectively. If Ishmael and Ramsey are able to get better starts, Kirkpatrick will certainly have some more beginning of the race competition, making for some great racing to come. Coming up this weekend is the Ozark 100 and the River Front Grand Prix. The Ozark 100 is a 100 mile race through the Ozark Mountains in Mansfield, MO. They start off with a 50 miles course, then a 25 mile course than a 25 mile night course to determine the winner. The River Front Grand Prix is in it's 17th running and will be taking place in Fort Smith, AR. This race draws crowds from all over the surrounding states and always has some epic battles. The big bikes go off around 12:30 on Sunday the 27th. We look forward to hearing how everyone did this weekend riding and racing. Cole is out and about making awesome happen and we look forward to his race report. We thank you all for watching and for enjoying a Pint Full of Awesome. Thanks again to Concept2 Rowers and MotoTassinari for their support of this episode of Seat Time. Please visit their sites and support the supporters of your scene.
