Please watch in Fullscreen & HD with sound for best quality. Cityscape Chicago is a personal timelapse piece consisting of over 30,000 still photographs shot on the Canon 5D Mark III incrementally between July and October 2012 around downtown Chicago, Illinois. The inspiration of this piece was my fascination with the city of Chicago, particularly at night. For me, there has always been a mysterious sort of feeling to Chicago at night, so I decided to explore and capture it. Keep on Pushin' represents what skateboarding means to me, it is my way of thanking skateboarding for all that it has given me. Keep On Pushin' is part of REDirect, a celebration of skateboard filmmaking between www.red.com and www.theberrics.com. Showcasing twelve of the most renowned skateboarding filmmakers in the world, each filmmaker had 2 months to shoot and edit a short film about skateboarding. The contestants were kitted with all components needed to shoot on RED. Thank you Berrics and RED for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing project. Deep into the rainy season here in Seattle, I am finally finding the studio time to edit and render some of my best shots of the year. So much of this area revolves and reflects around the water, so much of this new piece reflects that reality -- This collection includes about 6,000 still images in 12 sets - www.facebook.com/timeframesvideo http://timeframes-video.strikingly.com/

RED gave 12 skateboard cinematographers the opportunity of a life time. RED supplied all of us with the same camera package, and told us to come back in 2 months. We had a week to complete our edit, with no guidelines, and total freedom. The Berrics http://theberrics.com/dailyopsn is hosting our videos on their site 1 week at a time. This is a montage of timelapses taken around Louisville, Kentucky over the course of roughly a year and a half. I started this project off on February 28, 2012 and took my last shot on September 13, 2013. Through this video I've explored more of Louisville than I ever thought I would, and met some friendly people along the way. This was originally going to be my first timelapse video, but I didn’t have enough to finish it in 2012. While waiting for leaves to return to the trees in Louisville, I headed to eastern Kentucky and shot for a week around there and released the second timelapse video I started on before releasing this one. When you don’t place a time limit on yourself you can get some really good shots, but end up taking a long time to make something as close to perfect as possible. If you want to read some stories behind a selection of shots check out my site at: www.OCEANLLAMA.com http://oceanllama.com/?p=171 http://oceanllama.com/?p=159 Music is provided by “Interstates” http://interstates.bandcamp.com/ Footage is available for licence at up to 5K resolution @ http://oceanllama.com/?page_id=184 If you have any questions or comments message me or write something out below. Narrated using excerpts from "House of Dust: A Symphony", written in 1920 by Conrad Aiken. Originally started as a small test project in LA, we decided to continue shooting and finish it as a short film. Shot on Canon 5DRaw using available light in the exteriors scenes in LA. Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
