The Florida Solar Energy Center has served as the host agency for the Central Florida Clean Cities Coalition (CFCCC) since 1996. CFCCC is one of nearly 100 regional organizations that furthers the US Department of Energy’s mission to reduce petroleum reduction in the transportation sector by supporting the use of alternative fuel vehicles and promoting vehicle efficiency measures. CFCCC has joined with Florida’s three other coalitions to develop a statewide presence for Clean Cities. Engagement with CFCCC and its stakeholders has allowed FSEC to play a strategic role in the advancement of alternative fuel vehicles.
