Nick is in corporate finance for Reader’s Digest. Aliza is an eight year veteran of teaching third grade. But each year when the festival rolls around, they’re movie lovers more so than anything else Last year, Aliza and Nick saw somewhere in the neighborhood of 17 films. And that’s not likely to be an anomaly. They love all kinds of movies. At the festival, they’re always excited to see films you might not know about otherwise – foreign films, documentaries, little indies, or even big Oscar movies that no one else gets to see yet. Aliza got Nick into movies a few years back, and their interest has only grown and grown. The festival is great for them because they get to go crazy on movies for a while, and they absolutely love it. So long as they find someone to take care of their pup while they’re out watching films, all is wonderful. After the films get out, they like to grab a drink or a late dinner at Comet or Hooligans or some other local spot… where maybe, just maybe, the conversation might turn to movies.
