These are the bears made by Dryden Students under the watchful eye of my student teacher and former student, Nicole Koob who brought in her clay bear from 5th grade as an example. She revived the lesson she learned while she was my student many moons ago. http://drydenart.weebly.com/fugleblog/my-grandbaby-clay-bears

We wrote many donor's choose iPad projects this year to have enough iPads for every student to create. This project was something we dreamed of making if we could become a 1:1 iPad art room. Our dream came true! These anti-littler bugs are scouting the land for litter to pick up. Our Fugleflick filmmakers had the opportunity to see their movie, "Allow us to Illustrate" screen during a student film fest in Schaumburg, Il. Students were asked to come on stage and talk about the filmmaking process, answer questions from the audience, and give an overview of their experience. Our students were SO impressive! Here is their movie on my blog with photos, behind the scenes and more and list of accomplishments in my Fugleblog post: http://drydenart.weebly.com/1/post/2014/04/allow-us-to-illustrate-on-the-big-screen.html

This video demonstrates the steps for creating a visual metaphor using Superimpose app on the iPad where student's shadows are much larger than themselves to represent that that their dreams are not limited by their small size. The video shows the steps for using this app to create a shadow, save a mask, merge layers, and bring down the saved mask to the foreground.

                      What are Tags?

                      Tags

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
