The video includes our arrival to the camp, our walk to our tent 'The Explorer', as well as time with our elephants Phuang Pet, Thong Kau. Our film ends with a quick visit to the Elephant Foundation to meet Suki. He had just turned one two days before we got there and was still in a celebratory mood! Filmed on March 9th and 10th, 2015 Starring: Khun Yvonne, Khun Nikolas, Phuang Pet, Thong Kau, Suki, and the Mahouts Music: 'Shave Your Beard' by Dengue Fever

The second and final video from a recent trip to SE Asia featuring: 1. Yangon where we watch some young nuns meet an escalator for the first time in Shwedagon Pagoda and the street scene in Yangon's China Town. 2. Bangkok with Buddhist monks chanting in a temple, preparing a mango for it's pairing with sticky rice, and our motorbike ride to Chiang Rai. 3. Chiang Rai featuring a trip to meet the elephants at Four Seasons Tented Camp in the Golden Triangle (where Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand share a border). The baby elephant we met at the end had just turned 1 and was so much fun! Filmed and edited by: Khun Yvonne and Khun Nikolas Music by: Dengue Fever

It will frustrate you or amaze you, they told me, and maybe both at the same time. I can only say India changed me. Even now, when I put on the clothes that I had worn in India, I am reminded of my remarkable experience, something about the place that seems true for me - in the food, in the faces, in the colours, in the light and the shadow; a wisdom that's just out of my reach. It seems odd that I recall the soulful impression more through clothes than in my images. I love my images of India, yet the wisdom I long for belongs to the place and the experience. The images I feel are just about themselves, line and shape and colour. The photos show me the place, but they're  photos. I think you have to go to India to know anything about India. The images represent power in the crumbling, sensual palaces of the Maharajas; represent a deeper knowing in the winter mists and lost horizons; represent heart-felt human emotion in the various human faces; represent our shared human journey traversing the cycle of life ... and the Ganges leads to Veranasi where the dead are given back to the river. We die in the way we have lived. And we die alone. The Ganges passes by Veranasi on its way, and picks up the dead. A bird escapes from the tree of life. I believe you have to travel to India to know anything about India. You may need to go. It could well change you. There is that chance.

Visiting Kyaing Tong and the frontier area of Myanmar (Burma). Kyaing Tong (Keng Tung, Kengtung or Chiang Tung) is the capital of the Eastern Shan State. It is home to different ethnic minorities. Akha, Eng, Lahu, Palaung and other ethnic villages are located deep in the hills. We flew with Yangon Airways from Yangon to Kyaing Tong via Heho, Mandalay and Tacheleik (city of the Golden Triangle). We bought light army shoes from the central market before trekking to the Pintauk and Hokyin villages. Towards the end of our trip we visited the Wat Zom Kham temple.
