The conclusion of the 2014 Summit In The Snow was widely regarded as the most powerful moment in all of its eight-year history. GoPro athlete Grant Korgan took the stage after breakfast, delivering a motivational presentation that tugged on the crowd’s emotions while inspiring them like never before. Korgan began by saying, “It’s human to fall down. The magic happens when we get back up.” He then told stories of his spinal cord injury suffered while jumping his snowmobile in 2010 and described his comeback with compelling advice on how to achieve success through positivity. He ended with, “It’s not about what you’ve done or how you got here or anything that happened yesterday. What matters is and always will be, what you’re going to do right now, in this moment for the rest of your life… Remember this, you are unbreakable.” Dressed in a suit and equipped with two walking canes, Korgan left the stage to a standing ovation and greeted attendees for over an hour after his presentation.
