We all know Rochester has some of the best food in the world. But sometimes it's a matter of what's close enough to fit into the daily grind that we find ourselves following. For that reason, Rochester has found itself an ever rotating scene of food trucks traveling the streets. Yesterday, in the midst of running around downtown, we had continuously mentioned a need to eat from one of these trucks. I think the Democrat and Chronicle's release of its food truck database sparked our interest. Excited at the idea of handmade meatballs, we sought out The Meatball Truck Co. Unfortunately, they were not on the radar. Us being the intuitive socialites that we are, decided to tweet at them; in hopes of finding their secrete hideout. To our pleasant surprise, we got an immediate response inviting us to join them at their home base, Antonetta's Restaurant, on Jay Street. When we arrived, we found an established restaurant going on it's 36th year of quality service. The cuisine was only rivaled by our own mother's and grandmother's Italian cooking. The atmosphere was so welcoming, we felt like we had just become a member of their family, a message that the owner Matthew Petrillo is doing a darn good job of sharing across many social media platforms. It is clear that the true driver of not only this food truck business, but that of all businesses, is undoubtedly the power of social management. With out that influence, we would have never found such "Darn Good Balls". The Meatball Truck Co.
