Here's some footage from a cracking day (in August 2013) looking at trail skills, riding rough stuff, floating drop off's and generally turning up your inner hooligan on some of Grizedales best trails. Richie booked a day of guiding and skills and said he wanted to see some of the forest. We set off on a mini adventure, rooting out some of the best bits of trail that are all pretty close to the visitors centre. The trails and weather were great, and we had an absolute blast. Richie said he had such a great day he's coming back again next year, and he's bringing his big bike!

Huw came out to Grizedale forest for a half day coaching session on some of the awesome natural trails. We looked at riding different sections as the terrain and gradient varied. We checked out some of the rockiest lines the forest has to offer, using some of the natural steps to practise step -ups and drop-offs, then headed over to the black section for some pumping and jumping action to finish. It's always fun and games at Grizedale, especially when it's been raining. There's a big slippy rock slab on a particular corner heading up the north face climb. It took Huw a few attempts to get up it but he nailed it:) As we were working on the corner several groups came through and no-one else managed to ride through the section so WELL DONE HUW!!

Warning! This is a long vid! :) A group of students, (some of whom had never really ridden off road) came out to play on the trails at Grizedale Forest as part of one of their GCSE's! How cool is that? Jatec from Grizedale Mountain Bikes tagged along to help keep the kids in check and keep an eye on some of the new fleet of hire bikes. We headed out on a short but interesting ride, checking out some skills and riding various different trail sections on the way round. It was quite a challenge in places (especially up-hill) for some, but everyone had a blast on the downhills and did really well. There's footage from a few different trail sections and some wheelie practise. Hope I managed to get everyone on camera! Thanks again to Grizedale Mountain Bikes for sorting everyone out with bikes and passing my details on to the nice chaps at Winderemere School who arranged the day.

Here's another segment from Ant + Steves day out at Grizedale Forest.. We had a few technical issues getting going.. ie, my cassette was knackered and my gears started jumping on the first climb:( So, I had to get a new cassette from Lee @ Grizedale mountain bikes.. Thanks for a top deal Dude! We eventually got to ride and checked out some of the coolest trails at Grizedale. Steve's off winded him good n proper so we took it easy for a bit after that.. then the smegging camera battery died (THANKS FOR MAKING THE NEW BATTERY SO SMALL GO PRO!) so we couldn't film the excellent final descent to the visitors centre. All in all, a great afternoon on the trails.. next time we'll get further afield and hopefully get some sunshine too:) Enjoy!

Like it says in the title.. it's Ant and Steve at Grizedale. Steve came up to check out some of the more natural trails in the forest so we went for a blast on some of The Lake District's finest bridleways:) It was a bit of an overcast day but the trails still rocked! We switched camera duties for most of this one, so you'll be watching Steve's arms. The bridleway down to Satterthwaite ( affectionately known to some as Dad's, Grandad's, The Dentist) is AAAAWESOME!! Check it out..

Autumn in the English Lake District - This kind of breaks the norm of the 5 second cutaway. We are trying to show that our multi rotor camera platforms can get the shots required, either for online media or production work. The footage was shot at high elevations in the English Lake district. The Coniston Old Man shots where taken in winds gusting 12/15mph and with the associated hill side updrafts. THIS FOOTAGE IS RAW NOTHING ADDED AND NOTHING TAKEN AWAY - NO POST STABILISATION. The only clip slowed down was the goodbye wave at the end. Shot at 1080i25fps

Here's the first part of Lewis and James' "Au Naturel" trail skills session with Trail Motions at Grizedale Forest. We had a great day out on the rocky trails looking at different techniques and line choice options. The boys had a blast sessioning some seriously rocky downhill sections. The weather was fantastic, especially for October which really made the day. There'll be more funky trail action in part two:)
